    About

We help you operate more effectively.

Revuity Systems is an operations systems company. We study how a business actually works and build what makes it easier to run, as products you can buy and set up yourself, and through CollabX as software for founders and operators who have a product of their own. AI is a tool, and the business is always the starting point.

    Why we exist

Good technology can't fix a badly designed operation.

Plenty of software and AI projects look wonderful in a demo and then change very little about how the business runs on Monday morning.

The technology usually isn't the problem. The friction lives in the system around it: a process nobody wrote down, data that doesn't connect, a handoff with no owner, decisions made differently by different people, and a lot of work that only happens because someone remembers to do it.

That's the layer Revuity Systems works on.

We start with how the work actually happens, figure out what needs to change, and then build the right system around it. AI is often part of that system, it's rarely where we begin.

What we're after is an operation that works better, and technology is one of the ways we get there.

    Who we serve

    Personal Systems and Business Systems.

Revuity Systems serves two customer contexts. They are audience categories, and the operating need comes first, with technology following.

    Leadership

    Jay Burgess

    Managing Director

I'm a Los Angeles-based operations systems leader with more than 15 years of experience inside complex organizations. I use forward deployed engineering, data science, analytics, and systems thinking to help businesses operate more effectively.

My work sits between the business and the technology. I look at how the operation runs, find where it's breaking down, design what should exist instead, and build the systems that make it real.

Revuity Systems grew out of that work.

We stay lean and senior by design, bringing in experienced specialists only when an engagement calls for them, so the capability grows around the problem instead of the other way around.

    How we think

    A systems-thinking approach.

    01

    Understand the whole operation.

The request in front of us isn't always the real problem. Before deciding what should change, we look at the workflow around it: the people, the data, the decisions, the handoffs, the systems, and the constraints.

    02

Design how the work should run first.

Software being available is a poor reason to build it. We design how the operation should work, then decide what technology belongs inside it.

    03

Make it work on an ordinary Monday.

A launch is a milestone, and the real test comes afterward, when the operation either works better or it doesn't. That's why each product comes with written instructions you can follow on your own, and the environments we build come with 12 months of email support from launch.

    CollabX

When the work needs software of its own, CollabX designs and builds it with you, from a first version to launch.
